D. Tides and Current

The tidal range is between 12 and 18 inches, the greatest range occuring after several days of westerly winds. Occaisionally, strong southerly seas sets are experienced during and after northerly winds.

E. Sea Salinity and Temperature

The salinity of the sea is the same as the open Atlantic Ocean. The temperature ranges from 60°F and 85°F (15.6°C to 29.4°C) depending on the season.
