My sister Alice, our housemaid Najeebi and myself on the balcony of the Sinn building in Saida, 1952. My sister was born at Dr. Khalil's hospital in Saida in June of that year when I was six. Najeebi was a very kind, patient and caring friend from the village of Magdouche. Behind us are some of the buildings on the east side of our street looking toward the center of Saida.
