An Arabic manuscript:

كتاب في الفقه
الواسطي، محمد بن محمد بن سعدالله

Kitab fi 'l-Fiqh
al-Wasiti, Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Sa'dallah

An interesting Mamluk manuscript because of the information supplied in the colophon about the place where it was copied is Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Sa'dallah al-Wasiti al-Shafii's Kitab fi 'l-Fiqh (MS:349.297:K62kiA), a work on Islamic jurisprudence. The manuscript might very well have been copied by the author himself at the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem in A.H.792/A.D.1390. It is a very rare occurrence for the colophon of a manuscript to supply such detailed information stating that the manuscript was completed on the evening of Thursday in the al-Aqsa Mosque on the 6th Ramadan 792.
