Van Dyck, Cornelius

The largest collection of the works of the founding fathers of the university that were deposited in the library belongs to Cornelius Van Dyck (MS:512:V24kA & etc.), and deals with various fields such astronomy, algebra and geometry. The illustrated treatises are contained in copybooks belonging to Francis Chamoun, a student at the American School in 'Abey between 1848-1851.
