    Dr. to A practical mechanism must be adopted to equip hospitals, sort & separate patients diagnosed with Corona, to provide a dedicated medical staff & a suite for them, & work must be done to secure adequate laboratory effort to stabilize cases

    Dr. to We train our medical teams and protection staff on how and when to use the PPE for their safety. There is always a follow up that takes place after all the teams and staff have used the PPE or if anyone got in contact with a positive case

    Dr. to There is no need to fear coming to the hospital if there is an emergency case, since there is a specialized Corona virus section independent of the whole hospital at AUBMC including a specialized medical team.

    Dr. to What about patients with an emergency and have to visit the emergency rooms? We are receiving cases to the emergency later than we should receive them due to the concern of Corona virus patients in the hospitals and hospitals being avoided

    to In the event that the vaccine is finally developed, it is unlikely that large quantities of it will reach Lebanon because many countries have already concluded deals with the developed companies.

    الدكتور حسن زراقط: ما زلنا في المرحلة الأولى من تطوير اللقاحات، في حين يستغرق العمل من سنة إلى سنة ونصف السنة. في حال تطوير اللقاح أخيراً، من المستبعد وصول كمّيات كبيرة منه إلى لبنان لأن دولاً كثيرة عقدت صفقات مسبقة مع الشركات المطوّرة.

    to : We cannot be sure when we would have the vaccine in Lebanon. We are still in phase one of creating the vaccine. Once the vaccine is out, I doubt we will receive enough in Lebanon. It might take a year and a half.

    to : Unfortunately, we do not have the rapid test in Lebanon and hence we depend on PCR. Sometimes the rapid test does not give accurate results.

    to : Daily Corona virus cases in Lebanon decreased and then increased with the cases coming from abroad. Last week the death rate has stabilized at 3.5%. Our aim should be to increase the tests and enhance our health system.

    to : Corona virus tests are increasing. We currently have a total of 641 total positive cases in Lebanon with 80 recovered. These numbers include cases coming from abroad.

    to : Data are being presented in different ways and we have a complexity in data, since we have cases coming from abroad and some cities in Lebanon have increasing cases. There should be one source or platform for all data to be able to analyze it.
