Several changes of course were made In an attempt to find a reasonable pipe line route and the exact course followed is doubtful but probably not far from that shown on the map, (Map 4) No satisfactory pipe line route was observed. It is probably impossible to avoid country like that shown in Fig. 59. The flight returned to Aqaba at 2:09 P.M. (Fig. 60 and Fig. 61) and from there turned to Cairo by way of Suez arriving at Payne Field at 3:50.
