- 7 - Fig. 6 Hajara Plain naturally go through Uguba since this would keep it as far north as possible without leaving the boundary of Saudi Arabia. The "Prospectus" showed the route nearly this far north. Accordingly, on May 2 Wolfe and Johnson decided to make a cross-country traverse along the pipe line route from Uguba toward Ansab wells, although Bramkamp explained that this route would cross some of the "Hajara"' or rough Eocene marine limestone plains, whereas a route perhaps 10 or 15 kilometers to the south would cross only the "Jeraiba", or comparatively smooth Miocene fresh-water limestone plains.
